1965年，姜滨出生于山东省威海市，由于学习成绩优异，他被清华大学成功录取。在学校里，姜滨比很多人都更努力，他基本上一门心思都放在了学业上。大学毕业后，姜滨成为了一名车间技术员。然而，被分配这样一份工作，姜斌并不想一直干下去，在他的脑海里，他也有自己的想法。为了证明自己的能力，姜滨没干多久，就辞职去创业了。
1996年，31岁的姜滨开始了创业之路。姜滨与几个同样有意愿下海的骨干同事，利用原来学到的技术合伙成立一家小私营企业，生产不被外人看好的麦克风产品。创业初期的条件十分艰苦，不足200平方米的车间，单一的生产线，便是姜滨他们的全部身家。

由于几人的“扛把子”身份，在技术上没有难度，这使得公司很快进入正轨甚至盈利。可人多带来的不仅是力量大，随着发展不同的意见接踵而来，很快让姜滨几人间产生隔阂，并最终分道扬镳。就这样，一切又回归到零点状态，姜滨的第一次创业以失败告终。

不过，姜滨并没有放弃创业这个念头。2001年，姜滨的创业之路迎来了新的机遇，他与妻子胡双美共同创立了潍坊怡力达电声有限公司，这也就是日后的“声学巨头”——歌尔股份有限公司的前身。一开始，歌尔声学做的是驻极体电容麦克风上游配件，技术门槛低，含金量也低。

从2003年起，姜滨还带领团队研究自动化与智能化。此时，蓝牙耳机逐渐成为趋势，姜滨便再度向这一领域发力。从2004年歌尔研发的第一款蓝牙耳机诞生，到2006年在全国十大蓝牙品牌排名中名列第一，姜滨只用了2年的时间。
随后，姜滨针对国际一线消费电子品牌的需求，谋求进入其供应链，也就是业内分析的“大客户战略”。随着盘子越铺越大，姜滨有了上市的想法。于是在2007年，潍坊怡力达电声变更为歌尔声学股份有限公司，为上市做最后准备。次年5月，歌尔声学成功登陆资本市场，5亿多元的IPO募资，为公司冲淡当年的金融危机的影响做出了不小的贡献。

如今，歌尔已经是行业巨头了，尤其是在智能无线耳机的研发领域。凭借其核心技术，歌尔拥有众多大客户，像华为、苹果、三星、小米、Oppo等知名品牌都与之合作过。
